Buffered? What do they do to HP to stabilize it ? Is the stuff I get at Leslie Pool supply (27%-$19.00) buffered?

That's a nice article on the subject.
If I remember correctly, the grades with higher amount of stabilizers are the cosmetic and metallurgical grades while the least amount of stabilizers come from the pharmaceutical, lab, and food grades.
There is an added importance to this as the more stabilizers should also equate to being a higher ph (maybe 4-5 ph) while the other grades tend to be more acidic (probably around 1-4 ph).
It is kind of a double-edged sword as the less stabilized means a greater reaction, but also shorter shelf life and more susceptible to degrading in warming temperatures. The more stabilized will survive with less refrigeration issues, but will not react as strongly.
My advice is to use a stabilized grade, but increase the concentration accordingly. Then again, I may have this all screwed up....it has been a few years since doing any lab work.

Thanks for finding and posting that....
Re: I found it.....35% Peroxide
I'm finally taking the plunge into peroxide use after reading all the posts. I just purchased a case of 35% and am anxious to try it out. I could use some advise first. I use an inline sprayer with a big jug. Larger than the five quart ones protectors come in.I think it's about a gallon and a half. How much are you guys mixing into your pre-sprays? Another question is what kinds of stains is it effective on as a spotter and how are you using it? Any advise would be appreciated as I don't want to screw up. Never to old to learn.

Re: I found it.....35% Peroxide
There might be some threads on Peroxide if you search, unless that was the old board?
But I'll see if I can help....
It works great on any organic stains, including pet urine.....But DO NOT use it on wool.
I always put 6-8 oz in my 5 qt. HF container, and use 27% strength.

Blood, urine stains, wine, grape etc
You can dilute that gallon to reduce the strength to make more keep the gallon in a cool place
Go to the home page of the site right below were it says "search the forum" is a google search box enter the word "peroxide" and you will find a couple of pages were peroxide is mentioned.
Heres one I found
