Larry, sorry I missed this post. It is very different. The advantages is that it can be moved lft to right with the hands like a 175. You can use it as I did in a figure eight, more agitation. You can operate up and back like a spinner. The only bog lose with this tool is the water recovery is poor poor poor! Also you can't tilt and blast the edges like you can with the spinner.
I'm sure with time one could grow to like it and run it to its max potential.
