Have you noticed ?
That customers that ask super detail questions about the specific products you use to clean is the kind that will ask a gazillion other questions and they are the ones that never scheduled ? They bug the crap out of me and it's not even summer yet !!

Yup, I call them the PITA 'non'-Customers.
They will waste your time with several calls lasting forever if you allow it to go on that long lol. And then either say "let me call you back once I've..." Or just don't book at all...........and if they do happen to book an appointment, they usually want to make it way far out...So they have plunty of time to try to get themselves in the right state of mind to 'prepare', either for the emotional trauma it's going to cause them, or by having to pick up and move their crap that they haven't touched in years. And guess what, 95% of the time they will cancel, or want to reschedule because they weren't able to get ^^ it done.........aren't usually ever able to.
Another thing I call them is 'Time Wasters', and I've been run around by them enough times, I can usually spot them pretty quick, so that's when I tell them I don't service your area, but DP does and here's his number 626-867-5309.

Re: Have you noticed ?
I just call them broke.
If you have money, that $300 is nothing more than another dry cleaning bill...no big deal. They are the ones who don't ask questions as they don't really care and just want to know when can you do it.
The ones that ask all the detailed questions are viewing this service as a hardship that they have to get right...they only get one chance at it. They will study reviews, websites, etc. in hopes of making the good decision.
I know this as I am that way right now shopping for speakers....broke and researching the hell out of it. Normally, I would just buy the first set that sounded good and be out the door, but this time, I get one shot at getting it right for awhile.
The next time you get that call, cut right to the chase and acknowledge that it is a big decision for them and that they can trust you to provide the right solutions. They just want someone to tell them that they made the right decision.
Give it a try, you might be surprised.

Re: Have you noticed ?
Whats worse is when you actually have to clean for them.
I got a call from someone like that a couple of weeks back. She lest a message and when I call her back she asked why I called her back on that number when it was the number she left on the voice mail. She must have called 4 or 5 times.
Finally I just stopped taking her calls and she wouldn't quit. I call her back she requests an appointment and I make my next available appointment 3 months down the road. She says, " You just don't want to clean for me". I told her that I had been in this business long enough to know that I would not be able to make her happy I was and reffered her to two other cleaners.
Now I shit you not. She started crying and apologizing profusely saying that I was the one that she wanted, she just had back surgery and was in a lot of pain etc. I caved and made the appointment with no guarantees what so ever.
I showed up it was her daughters apartment that she wanted cleaned and guess what. I had cleaned for her before and she was a pain in the ass then too. I had cleaned her personal property and had me come back to clean an imaginary area that was "still dirt"y. While I was there for the call back the husband looked at with this " I'm sorry" look. After I was done and breaking everything down the husband thanked me and slipped me a fifty

Also, have you noticed that Donald Trump just called Ted Cruz a basket case after Ted told him to "relax"
