Another new experience
I just booked some commercial carpet for Tuesday night, but it came with a catch. I have to coordinate with Security and Handlers to control the Elephants so that they don't get spooked and decide to stomp me into the ground.
After all these years, I have cleaned in a few bad neighborhoods, but never did I have to clean with the threat of being crushed. I might become the first cleaner to add "hazard" pay to the ticket. Moving some clothing racks is one thing, but having to move elephants out of the way while I cleaned is definitely a first for me.
I wonder what prespray is preferred by elephants???

Hmmm. This sounds like a urine contamination upsell job!
Maybe the better question is, what is best for getting out pee?
What will you charge to clean the elephant sized chairs and couch?

It is a strange set-up with a combination of tile and carpet. The main issue, cleaning wise, is that the building is right next to a construction site so it gets a constant flow of heavy dirt traffic. I set the fire alarms off on the building next to it when I used my CRB dry to break up the embedded soil.
I don't think I want to spook elephants with a fire alarm, so it should be interesting.

I'm not so certain that I should have either, but my new motto when they ask me "If I can clean that?" is to ask them "How much are you willing to pay me?".
In this case, the answer was a good one.

Re: Another new experience
I just returned, but they wouldn't allow any photos. The Elephants were kidnapped or elephant-napped prior to the Zoo receiving them, so they were actually diagnosed as being PTSD. So, they said that they had to be extra careful not to agitate them. Okay by me.
I did my best to be cool about the cleaning process, but the handler was a young blonde girl about 4 foot nothing. She was there to protect me.
In the end it came out well....all was pleased and I kept myself from dying, so I was pleased. The exhibit opens tomorrow morning, but I really wanted that photo op. They told me that I might be able to get one later on once the elephants were more adjusted to their surroundings.
It would sure look good on the website.
