The stair climber
I used the stair climber, or second man as I call it. It's a strap that goes on the vac hose about 4' back from your stair tool, then clips to your belt loop. It does a great job off keeping enough slack at the hand tool and not falling down the stairs. I've had it for awhile now just pulled it out and went to work. It was really like having an assistant with you managing the hose. Many other uses for this but thought I would share my experience with it today.
Great product!!!!

I love my Stair Climber I got from Joe. It really helps keep the hose with you while cleaning stairs.

Re: The stair climber
I use the stair climber on the rotary dry master, with the rx20, as well on the stairs

Re: The stair climber
I use the heck outa mine, but never for it's intended purpose I guess like Ryan mentioned.
I like using it rather than the traditional stair hook on some stairways, and those places where it's hard to attach a stair hook, like some railings or balconies.
Where I find it comes in handy is on those stair cases with nicely painted banisters, to gently attach without worrying about the hook scuffing or damaging them. And it also comes in very handy on those jobs where you want to let some hose down as your cleaning back towards the stairs several times during the job.
Seems it's much easier for me to just pop the the plastic clip on it and let some hose down without having to unhook and mess with the Velcro.

Re: The stair climber
great invention, last a long time too. I got a solid year out of my last one. I re ordered two a few months ago.
Re: The stair climber
Just used it cleaning some uph. Made things so much easier and lightened the weight of the hose by having it clipped close to my waist. I strapped it about two feet back from the tool. Great piece.

Re: The stair climber
I used to use mine to anchor it to the banisters instead of off my belt, but it sounds like I have been missing out on a better usage.
Time to break it out and hook it on this week!
