Tile cleaning- How far will you go? Empty Tile cleaning- How far will you go?

I stopped cleaning shower enclosures and counter tops a couple of years ago. Was a PIA. I would get soaked. water spraying everywhere, less than satisfactory results, grout coming off......Interested to know how many cleaners are still offering this service and do you find it profitable- I did not. I only clean tile flooring now.

I think Davey Cracker has that figured out. Check out the add on service thread for some of his impressive before and after.

Checked it out, thanks. I was actually on that thread. I like the shower restoration description. I wonder how he charges for that. 6-8 hours labor! I guess in the end it's how it's you sell it. You get rid of the casually interested customers by charging for the time to complete the job correctly. Davey Cracker how do you charge for this stuff?

With the hard water in AZ you would need a chisel to clean shower stalls

Same here and the stalls are not very large either.  Smile

I dont do a lot of tile/grout but right now I dont really mess with showers, prob could be a good ticket but its some hard uncomfortable work, did a few that were luckily pretty clean but it wasnt easy.
