How did you spend Fathers Day?

I spent a couple hours Fathers Day cleaning hoses. A job I went to yesterday had the cracks in the asphalt sealed and I didn't think much of it because that seems pretty common and I haven't had any issues. Well when I was wrapping up and coiling hoses I started to notice some black marks and felt some residue. The asphalt sealer had melted and as I'm coiling my hoses it got all over them. Oh great, my new Lil Better Leaf Green Hose and Scheiffer Skinny are covered in what is basically tar.

I got out my SOS and a scotch brite pad and went to work. The asphalt sealer just came right off! I couldn't believe how easy it came off. What I thought was going to be an all day job was done in a couple of hours and best of all no fumes and safe, except for the sealer I was removing. It is so awesome to have a dfe safe cleaner that works so amazing. Thanks Joe for an incredible product.

Did some other chores and am looking forward to some grilled steaks later.

Maybe the title should be " How Joe Bristor Saved Fathers Day For Me ".

oh man, that happened to me... customer got their driveway repaired the day before we came, didnt even notice it but the heat from our solution line melted the tar all over it.

Been there, done that, it SUCKS!

Just be glad you didn't track any inside the home.

Spent my day working in the plant...really disappointing as the rest of my family was at the lake.  

I had the same thing happen to me recently.
Got in a 500ft roll of Parker yellow/orange and thought it would be smart to coil it onto another reel to save space.
Got asphalt on the new hose. Stupid.
Tried several solvents, a couple worked good, but  stunk and dried out my skin.... and started to take finish off the hose.
Tried SOS on a rag and it worked too with no odor and did not take finish off the hose.
Didn't get it all off but I learned to grab the rag and splash some 3:1 SOS on it now every time I need to cut some of that hose.
Can't wait til I sell off that hose.

My little baby girl got daddy some running shoes that breathe and they're white and red kind of weird cuz I've been wearing black tennis shoes for about 10 years. She's tying to make daddy hip, my 17 year old didn't get shoot, my wife gave me her gift last night 

Section 8 housing + 1000's of gum on ground. Need I say more.

Son got me my fishing license and Columbia river indorsement(for salmon).

got dog poo on my hose the other day, I was not happy. at least it cleans easy. tar just sounds rough

It wasn't when I was growing up....drinking beer that is, not golf. We didn't golf until we were much older.
