New Truckmount???
thinking about replacing the hillbilly TM, with a real TM. I will keep the hillbilly as back up.
Looking for something used but not abused. Or if I can save enough I might buy a new one from Terry. Can you guys let me know if you come across a REAL GOOD deal on a used machine. I would appreciate it , as of right now my budget is low butI'm working on saving more. Thank you.
Something within driving distance, north west America, (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern Cali)

Re: New Truckmount???
I think there about 20 on Craigslist here.. Most seem to be retired hobiests but some would probably take a couple cartons of Marlboros and a case of Pabst blue ribbon.

They sure can! Just find something that is easy to access the components, low tech, and hours below 2,000 and you will be okay.
Even a junker can make you enough money in a short time to afford a better unit later, just find something and put it to work....then buy that upgraded unit. How many jobs would it take to buy that petro viking...not that many and then you will be in really good shape.

Re: New Truckmount???
I agree with Odin! Buy the Petro Viking. I have seen one that is basically the same machine and was very impressed. Extrememly well built with stainless steel frame and heatexchanger. Provides hot water and good vacuum . Has an excellent pump as well and would work well cleaning tile and grout. They are easy to maintain and if repairs are needed everything is easy to get to.

Re: New Truckmount???
I used to own a Hydramaster 3.7 Cross-Fire. I performed very well . That 36 blower will really provide a lot of vacuum. I did have to work on it fairly often. It made me a lot of money for the $2000.00 I paid for it but there came a time I was working on it too often so bought a new TM . That was the last new truckmount that I ever bought up until now. Actually haven't taken possession of it but will be ready in 2 weeks or so.

1-2, or up to 12 depending on the cleaner/jobs??
OR wait what's the question, how much is it worth, or does it sell for??

Re: New Truckmount???
Mo I am going to have an EZ truckmount built by
Nick Nellos . It will be similar to a petro Viking but
with a 20HP Kohler V twin and a 36 Roots blower.
All stainless steel frame, heatexchanger and tanks .
Comes with a 45 gallon fresh water tank and a
75 gallon waste tank. I also ordered an auto pumpout.
Thanks Mo I appreciate your comment and I am looking forward
to using a truckmount again. Been doing portables with propane and
has been ok but this will be much easier for both me and my son to
be successful in this industry.

Much better Choice on the Engine.
you'll be able to get parts/service for it if needed, and won't have to worry about the down time with a replacement engine from Harbor Freight.

Andy we are excited . It started out that we were getting an EZ TM 16 V twin
Vanguard with a 33 Roots but he said he would upgrade the blower to a 36 for
not all that much more so I took it. He also upgraded the engine to a 18HP Vanguard. Then the other day I think he said he got a great deal on some Kohler
Command 20 HP engines and that he wanted to just upgrade to that at no extra
price. I put down half for the deposit with the rest due when I go down there to
get it put in my 2003 Chevy 3/4 ton van. I was given a RC99 inline filter for free
which I really like what I here about them. I need to get a new upholstery tool as mine went down just the other day. It is really quite old. Will order the PMF internal
jet model from Joe B. Gonna order 2 50 foot sections of Purple Swoosh vacuum hose
from Joe as well as some 1 1/2 hose of the same color. My West Pak wands are nice but I think I going to upgrade them with the stainless valves. Need to get van lettered . Will show pictures as soon as I get it.
