learned something new

So our family took 3 days off first part of the week. Went to long beach, the one on Washington. We checked in our townhouse Monday evening, then went over to scoopers, an ice cream place. They have black licorice ice cream...mmmmm. Then Tuesday after dinner(crab, shrimp, smoked stergen) we washed it down with ice cream; yes I had black licorice.

So I learned 2 things about eating black licorice ice cream. What goes in black..comes out black.
And I don't think they really use black dye to color it. You see, a few days later the paper test showed
tint of dark blue.
