I have to admit, I am not a fan of the diamond plate either. Just looks like a potential glare item...I do like the rest of the frame.

Maybe ditch the diamond plate and go with a clear panel of some kind so that you can see the floor behind the machine better as you go? I don't do a ton of vlm, but I find myself watching the floor behind the machine most of the time on a pass.

it looks thicker than the cheap home depot diamond plate,   looks like a solid machine

But man 6k is a lot,    I always thought 4k was a lot for these types of machines,   its just not that much metal/material for 6 grand and nice machines but their operation is a very simple design/mechanism...  not like there is a lot of electronics or sensors etc.

everything in our industry is so over priced

this is just my opinion and I know youll make plenty with it but its just the principal

Totally agree. It's made me call Mercury and see about a private label. A machine I could doctor a bit and resell. Would it surprise any of you guys if my estimated cost of a private label machine plus a wheel kit and some handle improvements would get me around $700 cost? I'd be doing something similar to ES's Vario.

Almost 6K for an OP is insulting to me.

Yes
everything is expensive but what is your return?
everything is laser cut, new 5.5 amp engine. Yes I said 5.5 amp and built like a tank.

I have a few commercial jobs right away that this thing will be paid off a few times over. In fact just one of them will pay it off.
Instead of running a second emplyee and an 2 orbots ill do it solo and probably finish in the same time frame.
Now, which is the expensive machine.

there is a reason I sold both my orbots ( with weight kits )
and the big yellow cimex is gone

Purely subjective, I still think the Grumpy looks home made. I love the engineering, but it just looks like everything was built from Home Depot parts. I know that has nothing to do with performance, it's just a personal peeve of mine. I'm big on appearance. My clothes, shoes, and equipment are all clean and shiny. I'm impressed with the appearance of the HOS. I've received more compliments from customers over that one piece of equipment than I ever have for anything else.

I'm looking for a Freedom for cheap though. It's a machine I wish he would keep making and just provide a lot of accessories to doctor it up as we see fit.

ill agree the bot looked nicer then the CM model. I think Dave who now works at Johns? has a used freedom for sale. Believe he will continue to make that model.

Both Dont look like a standard "buffer thing" clients would comment on when I used to rotary clean.
Once the grump is here Ill see if I can get a side by side bot picture

Take the Trinty's muscle and put it on a HOS frame? If I can get one cheap I'll try it.

John tried that.  The bot frame can't handle the oscillation.

I modded my orbot for a larger offset. Believe me I wouldn't want to run it for much like that lol

with 4 weight plates on it.

I was given some advice back when I started to always buy your tools based on profit and not on popularity. If that machine can allow you to solo those jobs, you have the right equation for your business.

I look forward to the results...
