Kleenrite High Ph
I used to swear by a product called "Traffic Power" produced by a company in Colorado Springs. Nothing could touch it. Unfortunately they went out of business. I tried some other pre-sprays and was disapointed. I then tried Kleenrites High Ph. It works as well or nearly as well as the traffic power. It's a powder that dissolves easily in hot water and the ph is 13.1. One night I got my hands greasy from working on the vans engine out on a job. I didn't have access to anything else so I used a little of the powder on my hands. They burned for an hour.
I had a nasty job last week. A bunch of single sailors moved out of a big house with white carpet. They had really trashed it. One chewed tobacco. You can imagine what the place looked like. The owner was thinking replacement. After sweeping all the debris along the walls and vacuuming, I sprayed the high ph pretty heavy, then worked it in with an RX-20. The carpet looked 100% better even without extracting. Some of the worst spots I pre-sprayed again. When I finally extracted it using a TM and RX-20 the results were pretty amazing. The property manager was amazed. I can only imagine what adding peroxide will do.

Re: Kleenrite High Ph
If it burned your hands for an hour I wonder what it does to your lungs after continuous use?
Re: Kleenrite High Ph
Not much of a problem actually.
