Slop n gobble
I'm going to have to try it again. I thought it was good but not great.
However I realized the scooper I was using was a 1 oz measure. I thought it was 2 oz
so I thought I was mixing it strong at 1 oz per gallon, but really only using it at 1/2 oz.
and on less dirty carpet I was running it at 1/4 oz per gallon thinking it was 1/2 oz
So looking forward to actually mixing it strong, and seeing what it will do . Going to order a small 2 pounder just to give it a proper try.

Yep, I tried S&G. Was good. I've tried grease hog recently from vac away. And I like some of the things it has done. Both get the job done.

Used grease hawg on a rental with comm grade carpet. The GH was what I had ready. The carpet didn't look hardly dirty, then I sprayed it down; and the dirty areas started to show(darker). Slow strokes at 350 psi; wamm, bamm, thank you mamm. Looked real good.

This place was real bad. I would say this one was one of the worst places I have seen.

That pretty much looks like my typical move out here. So far I haven't used anything that cleans as well as Slop. Nice job Tim.

Re: Slop n gobble
How strong are you guys having to mix it for those dirty places?
Due to my measuring mistake I've yet to experience it stronger then 1/2 per gallon.

I will put about 6-8 scoops in my inline hydroforce with no metering tip and it has worked good for me that way. and that is the little 1/2 ounce scoops that comes with it.Andy Mc wrote:How strong are you guys having to mix it for those dirty places?

Re: Slop n gobble
I pre scrubbed this with my rotovac and a very worn red pad. then I used the rotovac to rinse.Mo wrote:No pre scrub Tim? I would love to see one of Eric's really fast ones
Re: Slop n gobble
Real nasty. Horders. Bad lighting, soil was caked on and heavy.

Re: Slop n gobble
Tenant wanted to hug the beautiful carpet. I told him,"I wouldn't do that if I were you"! They were horders.
The small dirty spot in bottom right hadn't been cleaned yet.

Re: Slop n gobble
After that job I said "I'll never do one like that again. Afew weeks later I got to clean up the squished in dog poo. Oh how fun! Half the pic is cut off, so double what you see. I drove 40 minutes to this one; so I wasn't walking away with out something to charge them. Apt complex I do 4-6 a month at, so gotta keep 'em happy.

Re: Slop n gobble
Worse than that, had to lay out any hoses and hose them off, used gloves to handle hoses. Plugged in my pre spray gun to hose off bottomof my shoes @ end of job before I left. Got home, stripped down in the laundry room and went right to the shower. The next day went to the bank at opening and dep the check(I trust the guy(owner) but....)Mo wrote:Good work Matt looks like Grease Hog knocked that out. Don't forget to clean tank
