I keep extra 75ft coil if needed total cost $250
all my jobs required no more than 150ft

Re: time for new hoses
I just received my new order of vac hoses myself as I still have about 300 feet of new skinny psi hose in storage.
I do like that green hose....

I can still tolerate the orange, but hate the blue hoses.
I'm changed to purple now...first time I ever received a compliment about the hose color while on a job. I figure it must be a good sign.

Re: time for new hoses
So you only carry 150" of vac hose?
If so, I guess you're one of those cleaners I take jobs from, because as the customer says "he didn't have enough hose to reach".
Yes Mam, I have a looong hose.

Re: time for new hoses
Depends on the size of the front lawn......some only need a short hose.
(Editor's note: This sounded really wrong somehow)

Re: time for new hoses
Never lay your "Hose" on an 'un-mown' lawn.
That get's them cleaned up every time!!

I always have 225 ft and have extra 300 ft at home if need and that is only the new hose not counting the old one

Wow G, that is a lot of hose.
I carry 300 with another 250 at the house, but I mainly do large commercial. Don't they have driveways in your neighborhood?

Looks good Gtech, were ordering one of those EZ reels electric... cant wait to install it.
We have the same color lime green vac too on the express and the leaf green on the big truck.... soon Im going to get crazy with the vinyl wrap guy and get almost everything shiny green. Going to wrap the wands, crb, orbiter, maybe some air movers, and definitely the rotovac.. all green and branded. Its actually pretty cheap!
Most jobs here 150ft is enough to easily reach, we carry 250 on the truck and have only pulled it all out once.
I cant believe a carpet cleaner would say I cant do that area because I cant reach lol, what kinda hacks you have down there.. they dont even have vlm gear to pull out?

Re: time for new hoses
There was a guy at a co I worked for when I first started that only had 100' of hose (Kevin his name), so the boss would regularly tell me "Kevin couldn't do it, so you go do it".
Of course we all want every job to be only 50' run of hose, but we're just loosing jobs if we don't have enough hose to reach all of them.
Because the next guy might.
I also have customers call me that have been told the other guy they called can't do it because he can't reach it.
I'll go 300' if it's worth it, anything beyond that it's encap time!!

You and Mark Saiger should get together and compare notes....it is a very professional look, but too fancy for me.
