Anybody going to Vegas Connections this year!

I haven't been to a convention since ICE two years ago. It as pretty cool, got to try out some tools, meet some folks.

I go to enough as it is in another industry.....many out of the US. Where are the ones you are talking about?

ICE was my first cleaning industry convention but I hear once you do a few you're done. It's actually called the experience in Vegas

I will to Devon. I would love to hear about some of your other ventures. DP loves Vegas. I would love to meet Rob in person. You know he was a former stand up comic. Maybe we can get up on stage at a local comedy club.

I went to both that and ice last year and ice was many times the better show.

I would actually consider going, but that isn't the best time on my schedule as we are still hammering out overtime.

My reward for all these hours will come in late September. For the remainder of 2015, I will only be working 11-14 days each month as I will be cashing in a lot of vacation time.

Good for you Rob you deserve the time off

All I know is that I better find some more winter contracts with all that time off....it will be like working part-time. I don't know if I can handle that kind of slow down.

I did buy a second acoustic guitar today, so that will keep me busy. Might even convert a spare bedroom into a music room this fall.

Well... the temps are cooler, the classes are better, the whole attitude is more up beat. And Judson gives away a Truck mount every year. Oh and a ton of other give a ways too.

Forgot about the Judson give-away....that would be good reason to go.

Rob...you should work on that move sooner rather than later if your going to do it. You talk about getting more contracts for winter and arent you wanting to move?

My real estate agent gave me a list of things to change on the house before going to market. I don't think it will get done in time to avoid winter. One of the reasons for the vacation requests were to free up time to complete them as well as being able to get away for awhile.

As much as the thought of winter just irritates me right now (especially with a new box truck build that will be very impractical for winter usage), I think I am stuck for one more season. I can't survive starting over in a new market while paying a mortgage in 2 locations and I have no desire to be a out of state landlord.

All I can do now is push forward and grind my teeth.

Rob...I see you as a professional....you have the background and education to do what most dont....this confuses me with you....I see serious jacklegs making it in this industry and you have what it takes in the literal sense and hesitate it seems....I thought the move was an off the hip thought and was against it but I now see how its really what you need.....I would go full blown in it knowing some of your background now(the cleaning business and the move). Weigh in your health insurance costs too....make sure you cover all your bases if you bite the bullet and im betting you will do well.

Definitely would take some balls making a move ans starting all over again but If someone can make it happen is you Rob. Just take your time don't rush it and take a big wad of cash with you.

Yes it's weird that prostitution is illegal and yet between paper ads passing and truck ads showing "hot babes" and "hot girls 24 hours delivered to you" is allowed running around the strip, it's almost like the warning in some poison bottle label, do not drink, well duh, lol.

Is bud needing garage for heat or protection? If its under construction couldnt you just winterize it until spring?
