Were do you guys get...
Were do you guys get a section of hose that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I don't have a place locally that I can buy one from. Do you guys by a 25 foot section and use the crimps. Aren't they temporary? Please post a link so I can buy a couple of sections.
Re: Were do you guys get...
pressure line?
Find a dealer for parker paraflex... I retired the schieffer skinny.
I love the skinny but paraflex is like 5lbs for 150ft in your hand, like carrying air
skinny is like 50+lbs for 150ft which really wears on your arms over time.

Interlink in Mesa has parker paraflex section for 2.72 per foot. I thought I saw the section of hose for more on Ebay.
Re: Were do you guys get...
How about less than a buck per foot?

Re: Were do you guys get...
As for the field clamps being temporary? I have 2 year old solution hose that I cut down to 25 footers that are crimped with field crimps. I find them every bit as permanent as the real swags....especially the good ones from Gates.
They even make some crimps in brass if you hate rust.

Thanks for that link Rob and info Rob. I only needed a 3 footer.
Do you guys think stainless steel QD are better than brass. The brass always seem to get stuck

Re: Were do you guys get...
IF they are the same brand Mo, no I don't think they are any different.
There are some really high-quality ss ones that make a big difference, but at a price that seems a little crazy.
I agree with JB on this one, the brass fems use ss balls so it makes sense that it would dig into the brass males. So, go with ss males and brass females for the best value.
If they are getting stuck, you just need more lube....how often do you spray them with WD-40 or use teflon grease?

Re: Were do you guys get...
Sometimes I have trouble getting them on. The lead from for the wandeeze just popped out. As soon as I decide what heat source Im going with Im going plumb it right. Maybe Im not lubing them enough. I could go weeks with doing it. How often should I lube them?

If you only need 3 footer, I can cut you some and ship it to you, not new though and I honestly don't know the brand, I got them when I bought the machine a couple of years ago, most likely good year but not sure

Thanks DP I ordered one already I should have waited. I paid more to have it shipped from Phoenix than what the hose. That's what sucks about living in hoky town. I would love to be able to just walk into a Jon Don or Interlink and just buy stuff. I couldn't even find a water temp gauge for my wand here

I lube them every morning that I clean as part of my checklist. Simply spray a little WD-40 in them, set them facing up as you drive to the job. I have never had any get stuck before.

They fit well in standard automotive cup holders.
