Re: DIY Inline Thermometer
First off, I'm going to say 'thats cool.'
Then, more bushings are better? Right?
Next, you sure do say 'nipple' in a sexy tone. Just saying.

Yup you're right, having 3/8" nipples trying to reduce to 1/4" nipples always creates more ummmmm tension, umm errrr or fittings.
Myself, I always like the larger nipples.

Re: DIY Inline Thermometer
Pretty cool Mo, how's that thermometer staying in that bushing or housing though if it's just "plugged" in there ? Or is this designed only to sit between the QC on the machine and pressure hoses ?
I would be more interested in how to make the thermometer inline in the wand like the titanium wand bought from Joe's.

You guys are nasty.
It has three clips DP to keep it in there DP. I would have preferred one that screws on so that the water hits the electrode directly. It has QDs so you can put it anywhere you want.

Re: DIY Inline Thermometer
You did make that complicated. You just needed a 1/4 tee and threaded gauge, but you clearly started out with that plan before the surprise ebay gauge changed that...it happens.
I have gauges on just about all my tools, it can really be an eye-opener. The only bad thing is that it does add some extra weight if that is an issue for you.
