What do people care most about when it comes to house cleaning?

I am cleaning homes since 2004, we have discovered that bathrooms and kitchens are what most people care about. I would suspect that the these areas are used more oftenly throughout the day and tend to get dirtier than other areas. Plus, it involves a lot of time to clean and maintain same.

At time clients will say, 'My pet peeve on my floors.' So, for those clients floors are more important  if they have pets at their place.  In such situation, we/home owner have to use vacuum cleaner on constant basis to remove the hair on alternate days in a week.

When the cleaning company comes they want extra attention given to the floors, bathrooms, kitchen,  baseboards, ceiling  fans, the garage, so that the clients will get time to do other nitty-gritty work.

If we are talking house cleaning, then I would agree with the bathroom and kitchens....especially the bathrooms.

Let's face it, if you have guests over, they may not end up in the kitchen or the office, but they will end up in the bathroom at some point, so that has to present well.

I agree...Kitchens and Bathrooms....mainly these are areas that need to be sanitary for obvious reasons. A bedroom or liv room wouldnt need sanitizing in the same way...so, I guess they count on pros for this. Carpet Cleaning does well because the equipment and experience needed to do them along with elbow grease. Heck, I may have my carpets cleaned.
