Professionally Cleaning Big House in Canada

I live in Ontario, Canada and have never had a maid before so I am not familiar with rates.

My house is 9000sq, but there is really not that much to clean. We have no kids, but own 2 dogs and 1 cat. We just wanted weekly visits for light dusting, floor mopping, vaccuming and bathrooms. The lady we have coming priced it by the size of the house and charges us $350 per visit, and she is the only one cleaning.

She hasn't done baseboards, and it looks like the mop she uses just pushes the dirt around rather than pick it up, and there are still cob webs around after she leaves... and here is the problem I have... she only stays 3 hours...... that is over $116 an hour!!!!

After talking to a few people, I am getting the feeling that this is way too much, am I being over charged?

James, assuming you're not someone trying to get SEO juice, I'm going to bite and tell you my opinion.
$ 116 / hour for a crappy quality house cleaning work is too much, my wife is the head of our house cleaning dept and she charge by job and usually get about $ 90 - $ 100 / hour, that's 2 labor plus cleaning supplies, even then the profit margin is still pretty low because we pay the cleaners about $ 15 / hour ( working hours only ) because most of the time they only do 1 house per day and it takes about half a day to a whole day to do a detailed house cleaning.
