Both trucks are covered in ice with another ice storm hitting us right now. I couldn't even open the doors, so I will be spending some time thawing things out tomorrow and looking for any freeze damage inside the vehicles.

At least the power stayed on and my home studio remained at a good humidity level, so the guitars are all fine. Will be catching up with my practice all night. The concert provided some good inspiration.

That was the plan Mo, but there was nothing near the hotel. The only thing I could find within walking distance was a gas station where I bought water, but they didn't carry much.....didn't even have tylenol or pepto.

I was in the middle of nowhere outside of the casino. It was just a reminder that I need to plan better and it also means that it is time to talk with doctors again to see if there are any new ideas....makes doing anything fun difficult some times.

Even worse was during the concert when the guts went South from a chicken sandwich. The line outside the bathroom was a 15 minute wait and then once inside, there were 2 urinals and 1 toilet.....no dividers. I thought I was back in boot camp again.

You should've asked me to take you to the store the first night when we talked, I'd be happy to take you to Walmart or any stores.

It was one of those situations unfortunately. The trick was to just act too cool to care....and keep drinking the beer.

You are right about Walmart, but I really thought I was going to be okay after that first night with some precautions. It normally eases up after a bad night, but it just never settled down. I should have packed better in preparation.

Maybe it was that tea-colored water that was coming out of the sink? I switched to bottled after that first night, but the damage may have already been done.

It has been snowing ever since I got back. We are up to 5 inches along with a 1/2 inch of freezing rain. I watched 3 cars go into a spin on the highway today when I went to renew my driver's license.

We should of had a dunk tank with Joe in it. Three tosses for $5 would have paid for the trip.

Actually, it was funny how many people came up to me in the lobby between the shows and told me that they secretly like the stuff that Joe sells. Westpak bought some stuff, Rotovac, and even Tony sent people over to buy the glides which were only $50 each.

He's got some great products, some are made at a really good prices that I don't understand why people are complaining ( e.g. $ 100 filter ) it leaks okay just patch it with high temperature caulk.
I can't say the same to his attitude and the field crimps though, the field crimps are cheap but they are completely unusable, can't fix that at all.

I'm disappointed Tom cancelled his booth, I really want to see the devastator and even possibly buy the filter.

I agree, I was hoping to run into Tom as well. That swivel wand was something that I wanted to discuss with him.

Timing is everything, I guess he had a family emergency to tend to. That is more important than any trade show.
