Re: coffee remover
Peroxide, unless if the coffee is decaf, then it's red one by pro's choice. If you're not sure, then peroxide first, but watch your temperature, too hot and you will set the stains, after that if red one doesn't take them out, then it's done, you will set the stains with red one, there is no going back.

Re: coffee remover
Dp is correct.....but I have discovered a couple of things.
1. The coffee is already hot enough to set the stain.
2. They will have already tried "something" and set the stain.
3. Nothing you do will change the others

Re: coffee remover
I do work for afew churches. And over the years: I've done a lot.
And I've been marketing to them this past years. What is the 1common soiling problem? Coffee.
I was thinking if I start pushing "coffee stain removal" to get my foot in the door.... $$
"We know how to remove coffee stains"
Or some other sales line like that.
1 church, in years past had me every year. 10,000 sf of carpet. Just avg 1 a month would be a big boost to the bottom line.

Re: coffee remover
I agree, coffee stains are the number one issues you will find followed by shoe polish. I think that if you explained to them how decaf coffee uses a vegetable dye to resemble the real thing and how that stain is far worse as a result, they will be convinced that you know what you are doing.
A 10,000 sqft commercial is always a good thing....I really need to pitch more churches as the Midwest contains a whole lot of them. I would guess about one church per every 1500 people is about right for this region.
As for the stains, add peroxide to your prespray and you will probably get it without more work. Tannin removers are fine, but they don't really do much more than that peroxide in a prespray in my opinion. Just feed it generously and let dwell for 20 minutes or more before wanding. It is the sugar that is the real culprit...plenty of flushing.
