Upholstery tough stains Empty Upholstery tough stains

Hey Guys,

we are using extraction on upholstered office chairs with very good success however, we ran into these chairs that are just plain stubborn. I'm thinking to mix up a pail of some soapy sudsy somethingorother and scrub with a brush and then extract.

thought of maybe using peroxide like an oxi clean or dish soap?

thoughts? Chemicals/methods you use? THANKS!

Jeff

You might want to try some krud kutter original (Lowes in the cleaning section or Home depot in the paint section). mix 4oz in a quart sprayer and fill with water. Spray, rub with a brush or towel, rinse & extract. It's strong, safe, and environmentally friendly.  good luck

Carpetdaddy suggests something I've done before. It works. Krud Kutter even labels a bottle as carpet cleaner. It's also Dfe.

Is it a polyolefin chair similar to a theater seat? Dark stains in streaks in the middle of the chair?

If so, there may not be much that you can do. Try a little PIG with your agent and some good agitation. If it doesn't move, it never will. Sometimes you don't get to be the hero...if it is that kind of chair, you may not be one this time.
