Sometimes I have to clean vacant properties with no power and the carpet is really soiled . Here is what I use

It's a push broom but with plastic bristles and agitates way better than the Grandi Groomer . I keep the Grandi Brush on the van but only use it to groom with . If you can't tell by the looks it's about 20 plus years old and more than paid for itself .

Personally if I were doing many job without power I'd carry a Generator.  That manual scrubbing is for the young guys!
