HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
A couple of cool things its got that were a pleasent surprise to me: It was powder coated instead of painted, its got an auto off for the the fresh water tank, auto off for the waste tank, it gets hotter than I thought it would, the exhaust doesn't smell at all, it runs and starts butter smooth, its suction is crazy, I have to keep a built in ball valve cracked open because it was blasting past 15hg, its simple, smart, and looks like sex.

Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
Looking good Charlie congrats. Kind of weird not having to plug in huh.
Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
lol I will not miss the plugs! Especially when they giggle loose out of the generator, or running/tripping over the lines, or I trip a breaker, or blow up a transformer, or making them loose the document they were working on on the thier computer, or have to tell the home owner to please not use her blender or iron or coffee pot or dont vacuum ahead of me..........now its a thing of the past!!!

Did some triple story apt's today no problem, brought up 50 vac 50 solution tarzan style(over the head on the shoulders) , with wand and inline in my hands. Dropped the lines over, tied em over the ledge, and was in and out so fast I was laughing at how easy it was!

Sounds like you had a lot more problems popping breakers with your Hillbilly ETM than I did with my Workmaster. Those Mytee machines do pull a lot of amps.
I tell you what I love the the TNT but It just doesn't feel right using a gas engine to clean. One of my USPs was that my TM burned cleaners that a gas tm. When I looked in those conversion LP kits for the TNT. I was told that my 10 gallon under belly propane tank was not big enough to vaporize the propane fast enough to power and 18 HP engine.
Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
Ya I felt the same way till I gave up running cords and just started using my generator and diesel heater and realized I was using twice the weight which caused my mpg on my van to drop and took up at least twice the room in my van .
People that are total greenners can have vim and if I extract I will actually pollute less with my tm with heat exchanger anyways.
The great thing about Terry is he will take care of any problems and does multiple safety precautions on the machine including stress tests and over fill precautions built into the machine. And above all he wanted to make sure I am happy with the machine and I am seriously blown away with the machine and all the extra stuff and thought put into it. Gonna go make some more money on an empty right now for a realtor and gonna do the tile bathrooms too. So easy to add on different flooring while running this thing.. no headaches and switching to mostly hwe instead of lm. I should see a 10 percent increase in tickets just for up selling more upholstery and tile. Thanks Terry!

Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
We have both ETM and gas
I love the super low overhead of the ETM and its sooooo easy to trust an employee with it.
But its a big upgrade to not have to deal with powercords all the time, production per hr goes way up

Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
I like it.
I believe it is a HX, Did put a pre heater on it to Blue?

Powerful yet seems to be small!
Pretty amazing cleaning power from what looks like a 14HP Kohler and a 33 Roots blower. Good vacuum and it looked like very good heat as well. Overall I am impressed!

Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
pretty cool, you could fit that in a really gas efficient vehicle like maybe even a toyota truck with a canopy. Dodge is supposed to be making some new small cummins trucks and small service vehicles, kinda like the transit connect but diesel.
Re: HillBilly ETM to Pertro Viking!
Truckmounts are nice ! My youngest son really
wants me to help him create a carpet cleaning
business. I thought about it and decided I am not
going to do this unless it is the easiest way possible.
I have been using a CA Jag 6.6 with a 2 HT and it is really a great little setup but in the past I use to always use gas powered truckmounts. I put in an order with Nick Nellos for an 18/36. I would have gone with the 16/33 but we have been doing a lot of commercial requiring 200 feet plus hose runs so I went with the bigger blower. Up to 150 to 200 there is not that much difference but after that the 36 will be nice.
