What do you use to Measure SQ/FT
Number one tool in my van is Distance measure tool Bosh DLR130K from Amazon. This one is pocket sized, probably the smallest in the world. Very quick, accurate and impressive for the customers. Battery lasts forever. Have it for about a year now

Re: What do you use to Measure SQ/FT
No argument from me, I've been running the Bosch for about a year now as well.
The only negative I can think of is when you lay it down flat on a carpet, the laser tends to dive into the floor about mid-way on large areas. Not a big deal, I just place a poker chip under the nose and problem solved.

I bought one from HD and it wasn't very reliable so I went back to tape measure but I'm a dumb ass recently I starting walking the measurements.
That's a pretty good deal on that one Andrr

Yes, I use to have cheap one from Lowes with 12 volt battery. Very bad experience: battery dies fast, same room measurements different

I calculate time and cost in my head and then come up with what I want to make while keeping both sides happy.

Use a rechargeable Ryobi from lowes, have had it for about two years, works great
