Is a mutli sprayer worth rebuilding?
Don't exactly how old it is, maybe 6 or 7 years old, but I have a MS that doesn't work. I know the battery would need to be replaced, wand hose is good as is the wand. The pump should be ok. Do need a charging cord, as I can't find mine, but also don't want to pay $65 for a new one.
rebuild it or throw it away?
edit to add, haven't used it for at least 3 years.

You could prob convert it
And add a cord instead Or install a better battery
Batteries are constantly getting better especially in the last few years. You could prob put a nice li poly in there and run it twice as long as before.
I would say definitely
Worth it even if pump is bad too. That sprayer is like 500 new and the batteries they come with aren't great

Mine is the corded version so I am not sure what your options are for that battery. I would guess that places like the Battery Mart would have one that fits...same with the cord.
Is it worth rebuilding? I would ask you this: Did you stop using it because it didn't work or does it not work because you stopped using it?
If you liked using it, then rebuild it. If you really weren't impressed with it, toss it on the classified section and sell it off towards your next purchase.

Chances are if you didn't use it much and left the battery discharged it went bad
Re: Is a mutli sprayer worth rebuilding?
It uses a 12 volt pump. At one time I worked on one that used a battery pack from a dewalt drill so it could be changed in the field. Don't know if that is food for thought but I have seen a number of batteries like the MS used go bad early. My dewalt battery is 4yrs old and runs my drill, light, impact driver.

"Food for thought"...absolutely.
One of the reasons I was looking at the Green Gorilla sprayers is that they have a battery pack that you can change out in the field, which seems like the way to go on a battery sprayer.
I would love to know what is inside my little 7 inch Toro weed-eater that I bought 8 years ago. I have only charged it once!!! Not kidding, I have only charged it up once about 3 years ago. I only use it to trim around the rose bushes so it gets about 5 minutes worth of usage per week, but come on, 8 years and only charged up once!!! That has to be an awesome battery inside.
