I've asked this question in "real cleaners" cafe, but not here, what shoes work best and last the longest ? My Nike running shoes usually lasted 3 - 4 months, the others range from 2 - 6 months, what works best for you and if possible please post link where to buy one, thanks.

Cobb power max ? Don't know what that was, I use prochem products and if you think that's too strong then I need a stronger shoes, lol, Bob was recommending a certain brand on the other forum as well as a link where to get them but they're closed now and I don't think he's going to be posting here anytime soon, lol.

I got tired of my feet being wet all the time, and replacing tennis shoes every couple months. So I went to chef type, old man (fits now LOL), slip resistant, water resistant black leather shoes. They keep my feet dry and last much longer.

You're going to hate me for this but I wear Dr. Scholls sandals with shorts. Sorry it's humid here. I do wear running shoes on commercial jobs. Used to love cleaning barefoot since I could feel the clean carpet but after my skin started splitting I had to give it up.

Why would we hate you ? Lol, that's funny cause my buddy is using a shoe sandal kind a thing and he's been working for me since June and that thing hasn't fell apart yet, I personally don't like the way it looks but on him it looks ok since he's wearing long pants and our uniform shirt, I like my short and uniform shirt, so it'll look weird on me, I think, oh well, $ 30 - $ 40 every 3 months is not bad deal after all Very Happy

I buy Nike's locally. Nike's have always been a more comfortable shoe for me, but I really liked high tops better than the low tops. It's hard to find them anymore, unless you want gawdy colors. (I don't)

Sometimes I wear Rocky boots. Also comfortable.

To solve the problem of having my shoes fall apart, I am experimenting with the slip over, rubber over shoes. Anytime I am laying prespray or an acid rinse, this is just a layer of protection for my shoes. Since they are rubber, they are no more slippery than my shoes alone.  So far, it seems to be the solution for me.

Ecco shoes are all I buy now.  Not only are they the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned, they're dang near impossible to wear out.  A little pricey, but since they outlast 5 pairs on Nikes, well worth the money IMO.

Here is about the same thing I buy locally. For about 20 bucks, they make your shoes last, so a cheap price really. I get mine from a local farm and fleet type store.

Gotta have ankle support for me, hiking boots best- no shoes, Merrells from Zappos- about $100, Keen boots are good if you buy the Pittsburgh model- about $179, in any event must be waterproof and breathable. Other than that Walmart cheap hiking boots last about 1-2 months about $30, fit like crap though.
