What about Football ?

What about Football ?
Any of you guys keep up with football ? I have crimson colored glasses and although we played a middle school team today I don't think Alabama has what it takes to repeat for the National Championship.
I know in other parts of the country college football isn't that big but here in the south there aren't that many Pro teams around and college football rules. Seriously it is talked about 365 days of the year.

I helped my sister move to Tuscaloosa, she spent 2 years at Alabama. I grew up a Seminole fan and because a university of South Florida fan once they got a team.

Nebraska here....it dominates every last thing in this State, but being a bit of a transplant who travelled the world on the GI plan, I really can't stand it.
The only good thing about it for me is that you have all the stores to yourself during a home game!

Re: What about Football ?
Just traveled to Lincoln Nebraska ( 500 miles ea way ) and watched Illini get crushed. Damnnnn. Had a blast. Seriously, I think husker fans maybe most friendly every. Everyone asked if we had a great time, if everyone was nice, welcome to NE. Of course we had orange on. One guy came over and baught us our drinks. We have season tickets for Illini. I think every game I will pay this forward to some other team fans. Rockin weekend.Talked college football with everybody.

Glad to hear that Gerry, I lived in that town for 12 years and there are a lot of nice people down there....still kind of miss it.
