The only thing I recall about that crb was from Bob Foster. He ran one of those and called it a "tank" and "worthless" in his posts a few years ago. Then again, he kept using it, so who knows? scratch

Personally, I like the idea of a heavy crb unless you have a lot of stairs on a daily basis. As long as brushes are available, I wouldn't be scared off by it.

175's can be had for $2-400 in good used shape, I'd be looking more at the value in the CRB in that deal.

After picking apart everything wrong with both machines, I would pull out 6 or 7 100 dollar bills to get some attn., and to get the best deal possible.

ya good call, I think I would grab it in a second for 6 or 7 hundred but idk about more then that, that crb is huge and super heavy... kind of want one for the second van but I have been seeing Strong drys cheaper and cheaper, there was one for 800.00 recently.

I think ill offer 600.00 by email and if he takes it then its prob worth it

I'd say you have a much better chance of getting a deal if you show up waving 6 one hundred dollar bills than asking by email...but what do I know lol

Plus by email you have no idea of the cond. of the machines and can't adjust your offer accordingly.

I've got a duplex scrubber I'd let go for $600. Might even deliver to Puget sound area for free. I don't use it any more.
Its a tank.
