Re: Honda Gx670 is toast
Running great!, wow more power smoother, I just realized that I can swap this motor for a new one in under 2 hours now that the mods have been done and everything has been re-wired. Installed it so that all the wiring that comes with the motor is not touched, all accessories and lights are wired to the battery and switched now. It's a relief to know that I have purchased the 3 year extended warranty, if something goes wrong I can buy a new one for $540 = tax , and have them fix or replace the other motor at my leisure. It was very stressful before swapping engines, but now I am glad I did so. My El Diablo has never been in for "professional service, I have done all maintenance and repairs myself. I can't say enough about the techs at MASTERBLEND from Brent on down. They have always answered all my questions and helped me trouble shoot any problems I have had over the phone. They are top notch. I would not hestitate to buy another TM from them. I remember when I had a Prochem and they tried to charge me $700+ for a $80 alternator I eventually bought from NAPA. Their greed alienated a customer for life. Stupid Prochem.

Excellent job all around....you may have just opened the door for all those guys selling off their El diablo units due to motor issues. I've seen 3 of them for sale within the last few months due to motor failures and the fear of what it will take to upgrade to the Kohler engines.
Might want to start buying those units up gang...money way ahead.

I would like to do that since that is all I have been doing lately is learning how to work on TM's.

If that's the case, I guess it kind of proves the larger Honda's are poop?

That warranty does make it a easier to make the leap but now the real test begins. Let's see how it holds up in the years to come. I may just buy one to play around with a do it your self build
