NextDoor.com....

Post by Davey Cracker on Sat Jun 13, 2015 1:56 pm

Have you heard of NextDoor.com yet?.....it's totally free.

It's a pretty cool deal, it's only your neighbors in your 'hood that can post on there, and a great way for your customers to help get the word out about you by posting a referral to their 'hood about what a great job you did.

Sign up in your own 'hood, and check it out.......you could even plug yourself in your own 'hood, if you wanted to.

Turns out a lot of people know about it already..when A customer told me about it just this week, it was new to me also, but after signing up in my 'hood, I see there's already over 200 of my neighbors on there.......which I think is over a 1/3 of my 'hood. Guess it's been around for a couple years, but new to me also.

I reacted the same way as Dp did, I wanted to see how many of my town were actually on there before I sign up.

Being in a small market, my signing up might just get me another thousand emails and not a single person from my area on the site.

I bailed out....a bit of a puss.

I'm just kidding, and know what you guys are saying, I feel the same way sometimes.

But I think there's a pretty easy solution for it, since web based email addys are free, get one and just give that in situations like this. That way I don't have to worry about the email addy I use being clogged up with crap I don't want.
