some procyon tile cleaning pics/video
didnt edit the video at all just a rough one, nothing super extremely dirty but it wiped the grout clean pretty well
Re: some procyon tile cleaning pics/video
Good work AC looks like a color seal. That's a strange looking tube on that Mytee spinner. I recall demoing the new mytee spinner at ICE but the tube didn't look like that.
Re: some procyon tile cleaning pics/video
ya really want the turbo hybrid at some point, but this thing works fine just isnt perfect so hard to justify the $800 right now..
the vac relief is stupid, it pulls your shirt in and soaks it lol
going to practice some color seal here, I want to do my upstairs bathroom. Right now its dark brown grout so going to give it a good cleaning then try and seal it white
what is your favorite color seal brand? they sell the roller stick at jon don
ive seen some color seal jobs that were terrible, but Im guessing the grout was dirty when they laid it down

When I was doing it I used Grout Perfect. I did my customers tile next to his indoor water fall and it held up well years later.
Not sure if I would go with white though especially if it's currently a dark color. Pick up a color swatch at HD and put it down on the tile pick a color and give that number to Grout Perfect and they'll match it

Re: some procyon tile cleaning pics/video
ya I was wondering about sealing with white over a dark color, I would think it should work fine since the color seal is decently thick
Re: some procyon tile cleaning pics/video
Looks nice....stuff works.
I have that same spinner, but it is a few years old and doesn't have the tube like that....it is a little strange.
It really isn't a bad spinner. Recovery is pretty good and it is durable enough, but I do want the Turbo Hybrid at some point. I just don't do that much tile these days.

Looks like it worked great. But why is that tile so shinny?.......does it have wax or some kind of coating on it?
As far as the Mytee spinner goes it's poo, like most of their stuff.
Weights a ton, bad recovery, the swivel is a joke, and on......
Get what you pay for.

I didn't find it that bad....about the same as my old sx-12, but then I just need it to flush. It is heavy though with that cast aluminum top.
Re: some procyon tile cleaning pics/video
tile is just wet in that pic
the mytee isnt that bad, just have to play with the vac relief to get it right.
its actually really light, I wonder if the older model was heavy?
what I dont like is it locks down on the tile too easily
