I measured a week ago to quote this job....he okay'ed it, I showed up today to clean a smaller area of 350sf....after I cleaned it he added the rest of the tile....another 1200sf...so I rounded the whole thing down to 1500sf....then he was worried the nice cleaning would get dirty again and asked about sealing before I could offer it....he then added a seal job to the project. My $250 slow day turned into a $2180 job with a $20 tip for lunch. I had plans to take pics and when it grew into this beast of a job my camera wasnt a priority...I regret not taking pics and do that when I get busy! Cleaning only took 3hrs....sealing took 7hrs by myself. Thanks to Davey and his tips and product recommendations I was a success!

I give a quote to seal new tile at his new offices next week when they are done.

I used my CRB for the first time to scrub tile....it was impressive.

Love the CRB with a tile brush, really looks professional too.

This time of year, the tile and upholstery jobs start to show up with more frequency and I enjoy the break from carpets. I would love to run into that job more often.

Wow, great total !!
Why so long on the sealer ? They have grout wheel that can dispense sealer, should've gotten that for a big job like that Very Happy

I had the wand...it was just a lot of lines in a 1500sf job....the tile was unique at the edges and had even smaller tiles with more lines....it was my first big job for a full tile and seal job...went slow and methodical .... I did an area then went back to clean up and touch up....just took my time....not bad for one guy! I had to detail under the kick and couldnt get wand in there....so it was tough.
