Post vacation anxiety.
I don't have much of these but once in a while I do, especially if the vacation is longer than 4 days 3 nights, even though I always try to get things done prior to leaving, like filing all invoices, send all bills out, etc, but the last night prior to getting back to work is sometimes like getting an anxiety attack.
I'm feeling this now, being in Vegas since Wednesday, we're going home tomorrow and I feel the anxiety of getting back to work.
Usually once the day start, the anxiety is going away fairly quick, but the night before is the worst.

I am the exact same way, it is just your body getting ready to go. Similar reaction to running a race, the night before is terrible and stays that way until the starting gun goes off and you are under way.

Re: Post vacation anxiety.
getting a little anxiety about the up coming year. want to accomplish a lot more than last year.
I spent wayyyy too much money in 2015, going to pretty much save every penny in 2016 as I want to get a real vacation next winter for at least a few weeks... couldnt afford it this year after buying first home and car, plus remodeling and getting new furniture.
Then of course the vet bills were bad and truck repairs exceeded 10k. ughhhhh lol

AC...you should have a great year now...those bills will take you a long way. keep the pinch attitude though.

In my past experience, election year usually slower a bit than other years, seems like people hold on to their $$ tighter due to anxiety on who's going to be the next president, hopefully that's not going to be the case this year.

They hold on for fear of a slowed economy...It couldnt be worse in my opinion. I suspect a big year myself.

I expect a very busy 2016 as well....in fact, I am betting pretty heavily on that being the case.
I had the same problem AC, still reeling from the costs of van repairs (engine rebuild and deer hit) and build costs of my box truck. At least they are past me now and I can focus on recovering those loses.

You have no idea how right you are Dp.
Funny thing is that this guitar stuff has been wildly successful. Next month, I will be attending a local concert as a VIP and will get to spend time with the band. It will be rough as I return from Vegas just 2 hours prior to the show, but it is worth it as these guys are going to take country music by storm.
Just stop me from shopping pawn shops in Vegas for more gear!

Blake Shelton is from here. I bought a pocket knife of off him when he was much younger. We have lots of music talent running around here, I couldn't even tell you who all they are because like I mentioned before...I don't get start struck! I could care less about any fame you have...good you made some money but move outta my way.

It is always hard to transition.....I'm the opposite of you though, I get anxiety going into a vacation. I guess I can never turn off my working mind.
Re: Post vacation anxiety.
Rob, if I get anxiety before going to vacation, my wife would confiscate my business phone from my hand, lol.
Great thing is 2 customers called and rescheduled, so 3 jobs left for tomorrow.
Now waiting for my flight at the airport, been here since 2 pm ( 4 hours waiting so far ) still got 2.5 hours to go.

Re: Post vacation anxiety.
That is often the case flying out of Hawaii....it does suck since you are facing a long flight as well.
It isn't the phone that is a problem for me, it is just me. I think it was Mark Twain that said you can't take a vacation from yourself...I tend to over-analyze everything and a vacation itinerary is just more logistics to worry about with unknown variables.
I would be better off going to the hospital and inducing a coma.
