New Forecast
December was very slow for business due to extreme cold temperatures and Janurary didn't fare much better. Now we finally got a warm up (44 degrees) and they are forecasting 18 inches of snow on Tuesday along with 50 mph winds.
I think I should have stayed in Vegas.

Re: New Forecast
I am definitely in the wrong market area. It is like I work for Maytag right now. Unless you are selling ice melt, snow shovels, or propane, you are not seeing a lot of work.
Re: New Forecast
Spring is just around the corner Rob. The days are getting longer already in my neck of the woods
Re: New Forecast
I know, in a few weeks I will be scrambling to get things ready for the rush and wishing I had more time.
Re: New Forecast
Isn't it weird ? I wish things are more steady throughout the year, as much as I always try to stay on top of things, e.g. van and TM maintenances and taxes always gets done in the winter and use my free time to do as much things as possible, there's always one or two things missed and when I remembered about those is usually when we started to get busy and it pissed me off so bad, I hate when things are not going as planned or things are not running properly.
It's been raining today almost all day, we need it and it's good because it happens on Sunday, on the way to Huntington Beach, I already got stuck 3 times ( 3 accidents on the fwy ), I hope it stops raining by tomorrow morning cause LA people just can't handle more than 1 whole day of rain, lol.

Re: New Forecast
Oh yeah i remember those days DP. A rainy made the commute home twice as long when it rained.
Re: New Forecast
Rainy days made the commute longer, eh? I have 15 inches of blowing snow on the way to slow mine down.
I sure wish I still had my Dodge Power Wagon right now....should never have sold that truck, nothing could stop it. You would just set your compass and hit the gas, eventually you got to your destination despite rolling over fences, trees, small cars......
Sure, you had to let it run for 40 minutes in the cold before you could drive anywhere and it only got 7 mpg, but tonight, I would gladly trade my car for it.
