Stopping the bombings Empty Stopping the bombings

After watching the coverage over the airport bombing in Belgium, it seems like there is a very easy fix to the problem. Sometimes, the solution is something simple and I am a very simple-minded guy, so here we go.

Terrorist bombers use very crude detonators as they are cheap and easy to assemble. One of the reasons a building under a bomb threat is evacuated for an hour is because the basic clock or watch face serves as a detonator in many cases and can only set for a maximum of one hour. You just attach a wire to the hand and insert a screw to close the circuit...when it rotates and makes contact, you have an electrical current.

If you notice the reports of this latest bombing, the terrorists wore a leather glove to prevent accidental detonation due to static electricity. That should make this easy. Instead of trying to "detect" the threat, we just need to "deter" the threat.

So, we need to cover the parking lots and all entrances with wool carpet and static generators. No bomber could get within 100 yards from any terminal without premature detonation. They would have to find other targets, but the same formula would work there as well.....lots of wool carpet and static devices.

Think of a world without terrorist bombings and thousands of miles of wool carpet for us to clean!!!

Well, it was just a thought.......no worse than what they have come up with thus far.

Just think of the ticket size....removal of 50 foot tire track, oil, grease....we would be richer than the oil companies. I look good in silk robes sitting on a gold throne. Cool
