After watching some video demonstrations.......save your money.

Granted, I haven't cleaned expensive rugs since leaving California, but I don't see this tool being very valuable.

Cleaning expensive rugs is a specialty service and to me that means it takes time and care to do it right. Rather than looking for speed, I would just charge accordingly and take the time to do it right.

Its actually a pretty awsome tool from what I have heard.

You can roll a rug around it and just pour urine treatments on, deodorizers, even cleaning solutions then flush the same way.

But its just a piece of PVC pipe with tons of holes drilled in it and a ball valve at the end... you can add a clear site tube where it connects to your vac line to see the results.

There are some videos showing it doing a really good job. You can flood the rugs really well while extracting at the same time.

Its a smart invention but it sucks for the inventor because its way too ez to copy with a trip to home depot.

cost is 2-2.5in pvc pipe how ever long you want, adaptor to ball valve, and clear tubing if u want.

Drill lots of holes in the pipe, connect clear tubing to fit your hose cuff size, connect ball valve on end.

wet the rug then roll it around the pole and watch all the water get pulled out super fast, then you can flood it with whatever treatments and then flush with hot water from TM

I don't really understand this device. I get that it is supposed to pull the water through the layers of rug and out the pipe, but can it really pull through that many layers of rug.....and uniformly to not leave soil behind in some areas?

It just doesn't seem like it would be able to do that unless you had a massive vacuum pull....and even then, not uniformly.

you connect it pretty close to the TM Mil, it seals to the rug at 15hg

most dry soil need to be beaten out of these rugs anyways, dusting is really needed for shop level cleanings vacuuming alone wont do it.

but for using at a customers house it lets you really flood urine treatments without a wash pit.. I guess that would be the main benefit

Anyone that wants to do rugs ...I have a good idea for you. I did this in California and made tons, BUT we had a huge wringer and drying room....we could handle anything thrown at us. I can get you more rugs that you can do. Our drying room had 20 racks and a huge 20 foot wringer I think it was. I'm curious if its still there in Covina Ca.

I just sub out the rug jobs to a guy in the big city. He cuts me a deal where he takes 60% of what was negotiated with the customer. I provide the pick-up and delivery for my 40%.

Right now, I can live with that arrangement, but I really don't run into fine rugs too often any more. I am seeing a lot more furniture this year than in years past though.

AC...We went to every dry cleaner in a 50 mile radius and talked with them about doing rugs for them....we put a simple sign in the window saying "we clean rugs any size" and they would drop them off...if the rug was too big we would get it from the persons house....we picked rugs up as the dry cleaner would call....we pulled in anywhere from 5 to 50 rugs a day. sounds like a lot but one location could have one customer with 10-12 rugs. they would tag them with a water proof tag and name n number. we would clean dry and deliver back to the cleaners...he would pay us right then. We made a size chart showing cost of each rug and the cleaners would tag on a few dollars per rug. Was a nice system. We actually got to the point where we had a van just for going and getting rugs. You can do 5 or 10 cleaners to keep a moderate amount flowing. The sign, price list and tags are key!
