Vagrant population is growing

Vagrant population is growing
I was in Omaha today for 2 hours and spotted 6 vagrants at the mall entrances holding signs asking for money. Each one using some kind of prop like a cane, a cast, or my favorite....the little girl looking sad.
I made the point to try and speak to each one of these frauds and all they would say is give me some money or get lost. The little girl told me that they lived a few blocks beyond the mall which is a division of homes worth no less than $300,000.
I even watched one walk over to a Lincoln Town Car and drive to the Olive Garden for lunch and then came back to pan handle some more.
If there are any legitimate people out there that desperate, sorry that you are lumped in with these jerks, but people like that need to spend time in jail. Sad part is that the population is growing around here and it is disgusting.
I might spend my time filming these clowns over the next few weeks and put them on youtube.

You don't need to waste your time...
There's already plunty of videos documenting these frauds.
When I do it, I wear a suit and hold a sign that says:
heLp mE
Become a millionaire
Just need $1 from 1 million people

Maybe I need to stand there with a sign that says "I beat up the fake vagrant and took over his spot...have a nice day."
Re: Vagrant population is growing
They get pissed if you offer them anything except money.
I would love to just follow one around all day and film him from afar. That would make a great video when he turns out to be an Accountant or something in reality.
Have you noticed that it is always men? Makes you wonder doesn't it?

Re: Vagrant population is growing
just google seattle homeless problem and youll see how bad it is here.
all our freeways all through downtown are huge camps of them underneath. Youll see areas of literally hundreds of tents, every off ramp beggers.
They keep moving these tent cities to different locations because residents complain of huge spikes in crime, drugs, murders, and unbelievable amounts of littering.
They had one camp nicknamed "the jungle" which was under i90, something like 400 people living there until there was a string of murders and they shut it down. The final straw was a homeless mom and her innocent kids were murdered

That sounds terrible AC.....is this more of a chosen hippie sort of lifestyle or is it more like the the "no place to go" sort of thing?
Around here, it is mostly a chosen lifestyle. I have no sympathy for a person that chooses that life. I used to know a guy in college who chose to live out of a van for the last 20 years. His parents owned a chain of stores, but he wanted to "experience life" as he told me.
I was told that he drove the US for a year until his parents cut him off and spent the last 19 as a drunk with the van on blocks. Still, his choices.
