I booked a house cleaning tomorrow from an old client that owns about a dozen rental properties and is one of my favorites. His jobs are all the same, building will be left unlocked with cash on the counter...lock up when done.

No kids to worry about. No lamps to NOT knock over. No beds to fight with.....nothing. Clean it at any time that I choose and walk away with payment in cash. The guy pays well too.

Yup, if I could fill my schedule with customers like this guy, I would be the happiest cleaner around. Peace

Those are nice stress free jobs. I dont get too many people paying in cash though especially PMs

It is not common around her either, but I do have a couple. Best part is that they leave it in the freezer....sort of a "cold cash" joke.

The last time that I did one, I stopped at a burger joint when I left and the bills were still ice cold on a Summer day. The gal at the counter commented on how good the A/C must be in my van.

Wow, nice !! I've only had that situation once in 13 years, the customer left cash in the drawer, 90% of my customers pay with credit cards.

Crédit cards WOOF!!!  I hate it.  Oh I want to use my American express card...they give me free airline miles.   NO THEY DON'T. I'm the poor sob who pays for.it.  I hate all the cc's.  Although they are a big part of my income too.
