Easter Rush?

Anyone seeing an increase in business for Easter?

I expected this to be a busier week as people ramp up for Easter gatherings, but it has been quiet. I guess there could be a late rush yet this week, but I have my doubts. I don't know if the tax deadline is to blame or something else, but I am a little surprised.

I am meeting up with my family on Saturday afternoon and plan to bring the van with me. Maybe I can find a couple of neighbors looking for a last minute touch up before Sunday?

Not me ! After a really decent week last week, we slowed down again, I highly doubt if we're going to get a rush at all.

At least I am not alone then, just very surprised by it. I wonder what will trigger the next wave?

Peace of mind will trigger people to want to spend more, right now there are a lot of anxieties out there, if you budget for certain things throughout the year and you feel uneasy about how next year is going to turn out, you will postpone certain unnecessary spending, and professional cleaning is one of them.
Plus it's tax season, if you service middle class to higher end markets, they most likely will have to pay more in taxes, that will also stop unnecessary spending especially if they don't plan or save $$ for these things.

That's why I always save, save and save during busy summer months, this year we took a hit too because it's much slower than normal but we are still blessed with over the years savings.

I'm sure it will pick up soon, however I still think this year will be slower than previous years, I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think you are wrong at all and I blame the sudden rise in insurance premiums as the culprit. When it doubles or even triples, that sucks a lot of money out of the household budget every month.
