Flex tape stop leaks.
Did you guys see the commercial for it ? The freaking tape sticks to anything wet !!
If you haven't check it out at flex tape offer dot com.
Almost hard to believe but then if they mislead I assume there would be lawsuit.
The most amazing part was the tape sticks to the hole on the inside part of water tank, yes he submerged the tape and stick it to the leak / hole and the freaking tape stops the leak, crazy !!!

Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
I am a sucker for new things....most are failures though. Before the Flex Tape there was Rescue Tape which sometimes worked well, but mostly failed. This Flex tape is pretty good and stopped a broken sewer pipe from damaging a customer's basement.
Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
Well, if it works as advertised, the inventor should be able to retire in a very short period of time.
Why are we ( men ) are such a sucker for tapes ( duct tapes, etc ) ?

Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
Lets us know if it really works ECO Guy. DP may own some stock in the product and may just be shilling
Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
It does work, you just have to make sure to work the air bubbles out. That is why that slapping the inside of the water tank worked, had he slowly applied the tape, it would have failed.
Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
Mo knows me so well, lol.
He slapped it on the inside of the tank when the water was still full !! That's just insane how that tape work !!
I'm going to check eBay and might buy it myself, now I wonder if the tape would work for our pressure hoses small leak ? This is a different animal ( hot water ).

Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
It would not work on the psi hose as it isn't rated for that kind of heat and psi. The other tape (rescue tape) can handle it and I actually patched a hose off my heat exchanger one night. The only problem with that tape is that it is inconsistent and pricey.
Re: Flex tape stop leaks.
How is it even possible that something fully submerged in water can stick up to something. Hard to believe such thing, have to give it a try.
