Need some help

My RC99 seal on the TM side has broke and I need to resell. What do I use to repair. Thx.

Yea I always thought what the sealant material looked like was plumbers putty too........Joe could tell us for sure since he assembles them,............Joe?

Ryan, get the roll or strip type, I'm petty sure that's whats used, and will be much easier to work with for sealing the filter end.................

I used Lexel on the back part of the RC99 when I changed setup. Joe told me that is what he uses. It holds up pretty good. You can find it at almost any hardware store.

I had mine welded on and had a couple rods welded on the basket.

I'll look at it I've got about two days of wielding coming up soon stainless and aluminum so what's one more job

Well I like to see how much I can spray to the back using my hose downer. After the 360i cleans my filter is stuffed full too. That lint puts a heavy load on the mesh screen.

You get the ss rods and I'll see what I can do.

with the rods welded to the top ring and the bottom ring there is zero pressure on the mesh now.

Guess I'm doing something wrong, because I've never noticed any pressure on my mesh.   

A dime sized wad of Plumber's Putty will seal leaks around the back lid in 30 seconds.
Just hook up your suction, hold hand over front port, massage in the putty and let suction pack it down, walla. been doin it for 6-8 months now without a hitch.
Shoulda listened to Johnnyone (McGyver) when he taught me this like 2 years ago.

Present Basket is sucky I must admit, but it's all I got.
$25 buys any of you a replacement.
Latest production of Baskets are quite a bit stronger, each horizontal wire being welded together so need for vertical seam.

RC99 is still 99 buckaroos.

Still the best value. That's for the help. The plumbers putty will save a trip to lowes. Got some already.
