Re: HWE job set up
Looks like you have been doing this long enough to know just how much hose to pull off . I don't have a fresh water tank and when pulling off water hose it's kinda a game with myself to see if I get the right amount pulled off . Amazed at how many times it's exactly the right amount .
Re: HWE job set up
I do it pretty much the same, just the solution then vac hoses. Was it you or the home owner that hung a paper towel from that light. I can't tell you how many times I've hit my head. Btw nice truck!
Re: HWE job set up
Same here, right down to the corner guards and RC99 filter.

Re: HWE job set up
Thanks Clean Tec. I'm entering this one into the Wanders September video contest. If anybody else had one for this month please PM me.
I probably should have asked you first before I entered it in the contest. Let me know if you want me to remove it.

Re: HWE job set up
Just keep posting videos the way you normally would Ryan and I will enter it in the contest.
Re: HWE job set up
I setup a few different ways depending on the job...
I will bring the hoses the way CleanTech's video shows if it's not a straight shot in and there's a lot of corners to turn to get to the back of the job.
If it is a straight shot in or just one/two corners to go around, I'll setup the corner guards and pull all the hose in.
Then if it's a condo/apt or commercial job that requires 100'-200' of hose in the building that's another story and depends if it's all ground level or multi story. But either way if there's going to be that much hose in the building, I'll just use the over-under method to roll up the hose as it's coming off the reel, then strap the rolled up hose together so I can carry/drag lol it into the job, and once inside I usually start at about the mid point and pull the end to the back of job and the other end towards the van.
But, if it's multi story, I just roll hose up using over-under, the first section or two (50'-100') of vac hose and first section of solution hose (100'), then take it up elevator and drop just enough hose down so it's close to the ground, (over balcony or out window) so I can connect more and pull it up if needed.
Sorry for the long winded version, couldn't explain/detail so it made sense in an abbreviated version. Once I get a new phone with a working mic, I'll be able to shoot a video with sound to show stuff like this.

Davey,
Your gonna have to demonstrate the over under method my vac hoses have a mind of their. I have the older orange hoses. I heard the lil better hoses are more flexible.

Re: HWE job set up
Ditto on the tip on towel hanging from lamp. Just curious when running hoses over sidewalk, do you put any warning cones, signs, etc. out?
Re: HWE job set up
thanks guys
I am right handed, what made you ask exactly?
no caution signs in resi yet honestly. For high traffic commercial I have used the items that lay over the hoses. I have an idea I want to work on soon for that.
