Role Call.....

How did ya do this first qtr of this year in comparison to last year? I'm up 8% not to bad! but I will say it been a hard hustle to be at that point. Hope you are all in the black so far.   

Man, I'm not even sure, but I know I'm way up from last year..............I'd guess 100-200%!!

The beginning of last year sucked for me, typical slow season............but this year it's been far from the same, now that I have enough Yelp reviews to really get noticed.   

Business is up over the last 3 years thanks to a really good late Feb / early March, but I spent far more in repairs to make it a down period over-all.

The good news is that the Berkshire shareholders are coming to town and I have some of their meeting places, so I should have a great April this year. Might even get some great referrals from the high-society members this year....it worked the last time they were here.

Only up 1% YOY but then again that's gross. I had a very disappointing Feb but the last two weeks of March have picked up quite a bit. I believe the season has begun

Way down. 8 snow storms in a row, polar vortex.... Will make it up now though. I call it "erasing the cabin fever effect". Phone has started ringing- and I am charging more!

I am dead even. The unusual amount of snow and cold weather in Feb and March really hurt. I am hoping that not being even with last year at this point could be a decent sign because last year we had a very mild winter... Hopefully that's not just wishful thinking.

Oh and I got a bottle of that apple cider vinegar. Too strong for me to put in water, so every night I have been mixing about a half shot with two (sometimes 3 - I am a professional) shots of vodka and top it off with about a half shot of diet tonic. I drank two or three a night all last week. Tastes good, kinda like a Reds Apple Ale. My mood definitely improved (for you naysayers it's not the vodka and tonic because I have 2-3 heavy v/t's almost every night). I felt like it did give me more energy and I dropped a couple of pounds. So far this week I have left the vinegar out of my drinks and I definitely notice a difference.

Not sure, haven't counted March yet, seems like slower than last year, Davey Cracker is stealing my customer   
On a serious note, last year I advertise close to $ 3,000 / month in the first half of the year and this year I only did $ 350 / month, so if I factor in the advertisement drops, it's gotta be an increased, not sure the percentage though, I'll increase the ad on May as soon as I'm back from vacation :-)

Braggs cider vinegar, great tip. Know this: Nobody ever died from cancer that had an alkaline ph in their body. Over acidifying your body on a daily basis is what will eventually kill you. Organic Green Tea all day long for me. Going to start a topic on keeping up your health....
