What do you bring into the clients home?
Everybody should bring something in the clients location so you're not running out to the truck every 5 minutes. Here's a pic of mine. This is what's in it. What do you bring in? What do keep in it?
1. Blocks, pads/tabs, 3x3's, 4x4's, sticky pads
2. Sliders for heavy furniture
3. Hose hook and strap (Joe's) for steps
4. 3-4 vac tools- crevice, duckfoot/claw(2), new vertical vac tool ( Black), Internal jet PMF SS crevice steamer.
5. Tools- small adjustable wrench, combo screw driver, jet cleaner, furniture touch up markers, gorilla glue other small stuff I find in there occasionally (lol)
6.Spotters- HP/Alkaline combo bottle, rust remover/pog/red out.
7. Micro fiber cloth for wipe up- better than cotton
8. Opened end Quick Connect for use with water claw
9. God knows what else!
10. I use a soft style tool kit purchased at Home depot to carry it all in.

Very cool. I use a bucket but It's not very professional looking or organized. Where did you get it and how much.
I wen ahead and hosted the pic.

Re: What do you bring into the clients home?
Fels bar, knife, jet cleaner, wand, crb, stair tool, inline sprayer and my huggers of course.
Re: What do you bring into the clients home?
And sometimes foam blocks, slips, tarps, floor bonnet, carpet shark, acetone, red romover and steamer, rust remover, gum removal tool, rx20, tile tools, ss upholstery tool, power stretcher, misc repair tools and... geez I got a lot of crap in my truck.
Re: What do you bring into the clients home?
Everything I can in a large tool bag plus bucket. The only problem is that bag weighs close to 45 lbs. now with all the tools, parts, etc. It is a little rough on the shoulder.
Anyone use a rolling tote? I've been thinking about a rolling soft-sided foot locker that I could then stage at the front door.

Re: What do you bring into the clients home?
I don't have a setup like you guys do, I just bring in what I need on an as needed biases.
When going into a new/first time customers to give a quote, I do always bring my invoice book, tape measure and moisture meter in with me. I use the moisture meter to detect pet urine deposits, that the customer may or may not know they have........so that way I can include the needed treatment to rectify that problem in my quote.

Same one here Fuzz, great tool. Still haven't learned all the features yet, but cool tool. I like to measure distance from the van to the front door when I pull up, saves me a few steps.

Yea, I know, but I'm old fashion and like that positive accuracy of a tape. Plus I don't want to measure that fast, it takes away from the time I get to know the customer, and their needs and concerns.
Unless I'm measuring a big commercial job, then I'll use my roller wheel tape.

Re: What do you bring into the clients home?
Normally, just inline sprayer, a bar of fels and squirt bottle of peroxide .
Bring that to the door along with rotovac OR wand, on my first trip.
After the meet and greet, I toss that stuff in the far room, then all I have to do is run my lines and go to work.
