Apple IPhone users.....
For all of you IPhone users, If you decide to stop using your IPhone and switch to a Droid make sure you disable your IMessaging on your IPhone. I just found out last night that I have not been getting any text messages from apple users on my new droid for the last week because I did not do this. It is a known issue that Apple does not want to fix. http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-fix-apples-imessage-bug/
Re: Apple IPhone users.....
Yep, it's a common prob from what I know.........good luck, cause the next thing is a $2k phone bill from your ex ipOwN Carrier.
I choose to stick with iPown, like most that switch and wish they never had.

Re: Apple IPhone users.....
ditched my droids after the battery life was so bad it wouldnt even make it through a work day. Plus i hate how big the screen is and you cant hold it in one hand and use it easily... they were getting bigger and bigger until your carrying around a flat screen tv in ur pocket that can break so easily
galaxy several times got so hot in my pocket it was burning my leg, checked the app for battery temp and it was at almost 300f
3 galaxys I had to keep exchanging because the antennae was going bad and I wasnt getting calls
went to iphone 5 and ill never look back, mostly because its the only phone that the lifeproof case fits.
the case alone was the deciding point for me, military grade, can scuba dive with it so my phone is an underwater camera/video recorder, can drop it off a building and it wont break

Re: Apple IPhone users.....
If my present droid fails again, I'm switching. I am on my 3rd one and this one has a power up button that sometimes doesn't work without mashing it, so I never turn it off.

I don't know what you have now but before you make the switch, I would highly recommend to try galaxy note 4 which is going to come out in the next couple months, I've always use samsung galaxy and never had any problems with any of them, the galaxy s3 was dropped accidentally like around 30 - 40 times in 2 years ( with full rubber case and screen protector ) and now my 10 years old girl is using it, I admit the battery life sucks but the note 3 I'm using now is awesome, with about 30 calls a day on bluetooth and emails, etc, my battery last all day and still have about 20 % left, I heard the note 4 is going to be water proof and 4 gb of memory ! I'm getting that one as soon as it's out.
What did you say ipown users ? Can't hear you !

I'm still using the droid 4....I like the slide-out keyboard over the touch pad ones. Battery life is good, camera sucks, and it just keeps having little nagging issues.

I thought you dropped that thing in the lake or something when you were cleaning a boat a little while ago ?

I did (drowned 2 of them so far), they replaced it with a "reconditioned" one. It seems that the "reconditioned" phones all develop issues pretty quick.
Re: Apple IPhone users.....
Yes I agreed on that one, I always asked the insurance before I sign up with them, if their policy is to replace with the reconditioned phones, I won't sign up.

Re: Apple IPhone users.....
Switched to Droid like it so far. It just doesn't fit as well in my pocket.
My brother has this huge phone. His wife actually stitched custom pockets in his pants so it would fit

Re: Apple IPhone users.....
My wife just switched from apple ios to google droid. She hastes it. Harder to navigate. Apples ios is much easier and straight forward. For gods sake you have to download an ap for notes in droid, wtf?
Re: Apple IPhone users.....
I'm switching to the iPhone and hoping to never look back. I've switched to MacBook Pro from a Dell, breath of fresh air! I just got a iPad, practicing my photo and video skills with hopes to post them.

Re: Apple IPhone users.....
If anyone wants any direct advice on the Apple stuff, my sister used to manage an Apple store for years and would probably have some good insight on it. Just shoot me the question and I will pass it by her.
I still stayed away from Apple, but she made a very strong case for it.

Re: Apple IPhone users.....
I've never liked apple. I run an S4 now, and am thinking of switching to a note 3.
I've been very anti apple all my life. The IIe set me on the path of IBM systems only. Hated those damn computers!
When in jr high, I learned computer programing on PET commodores. Anyone besides me, remember them?

Commodores....heck ya!
I also stayed out of Apple only because all the business-related software was for IBM platforms. I guess that has changed now and you can actually run windows on an Apple station, but I still follow what I am comfortable with.
I do like their tablets a lot, though, might get one of those as a customer showcase for my job-site photos.
