My phone just blew up today. This is one of those days where I wished I had a secretary.  I scheduled six jobs one didn't call me back. I had one caller said she saw my website a while back and saw my van and said I have to call him. She had a shoot load of rugs. I had two walk ups while cleaning today.  You guys ready to bust your ass?

It has been a very good year so far for me. I have had a few slow weeks but been staying pretty consistent with work.

Was slammed with phone calls a few days ago, had a $ 2250 day a few days ago with 2 guys carpet cleaning crew and 3 ladies house cleaning crew, today did 5 jobs, supposedly 6 but 1 rescheduled due to his water got shut off, tomorrow got 3 or 4 so far, so it definitely picks up from early April which the schedule is very patchy.
Economy is getting better, home prices keeps climbing up, unfortunately gas prices also goes up, oh well, as long as the jobs keeps coming, we can afford to pay an extra $ 1 / gallon, right ? Razz

May June July Aug are traditionally the busiest months out of the year. I decided t pay off some bills right now while the going is good.

Still busy 5 out of 7 days, but already lost a few jobs after missing their calls.

It never fails, phone doesn't ring all day and then when you are in the shower....phone starts blowing up and you suspect it is just another google salesman until it goes to voicemail. By the time you can get to it, the job is lost. Mad

Yep, never seems to fail huh?

Every time my hands are all dirty or greasy from working or working on my equipment, the phone starts ringing.

But I've noticed, for the most part the people that don't leave a message or call someone else immediately are the price shoppers, usually calling around looking for the best deal.........so for me it's not a loss usually.

That is so true Rob and Dave is right the ones that don't leave a message are price shoppers. The ones that leave a message and wait for you to call back tend to be repeats. But answering the phone right away is a challenge this time of year

well its getting busy now, had a weird slower week... still 2 jobs a day but usually this time of year were turning down work.

not sure what it was but the very beginning of may I was expecting to be slammed, phone is starting to ring now though..

should be getting really busy in the next few months

SLAMMED !!! I almost throw my phone on the ground yesterday due to non stop ringing, by 7 pm I absolutely STOPPED answering the phone and muted it, I still missed 2 calls at 1 am in the morning !! Welcome summer !! Very Happy

Wheels came off a few days ago thanks to the constant rain.

Third Saturday in a row Ill be working.  Its a sectional at 8:00 AM. I usually schedule Saturdays at 10:00am but she wanted me there earlier. I guess Ill only have 3 beers tonight Very Happy Now that I think of it I have a church to clean next Saturday not the whole church jusr 3 offices.


Hey DP what was that stuff you recommended to keep your joints lubed up?
