Online reviews.

I'm in the market for front windows tinting and since Yelp is huge in my area, I went there and start browsing, it's amazing to see some of the negative reviews these businesses got, the owner responded to all of the negative ones but some of these reviews are completely ridiculous, one reviewer gave them 1 star because he got it tinted a few years ago and recently he got a fix it ticket ( it's illegal in CA to have front windows tinted ), he knows it, he signed a waiver when he got the tinted and now he got butt hurt that he has to spend 20 measly dollars to remove the tint.
Another one gave the company negative review recently for a broken door handle and guess when did the job that he accused the shop of breaking the handle occur ? 2014, 3 freaking years ago, Yelp should seriously change it's business practice and start removing these stupid reviews.

I don't have review, and it's probably just as well. Who really wants to deal with that crap?!

I did get a call from a client I picked up last year. He had to tell me again, how much he loves my work. His friends and neighbors love the gleam of his glass, and that I made him a believer in my water fed pole work.

That was a welcome surprise this morning. However, none of his neighbors are calling me for work....

So true Mo, these kids are not equipped for life....lessons coming.

I don't worry too much about reviews as it is pretty easy to spot the bogus ones whether they are fake praise or some crank who is going to complain about everything. When I read hotel reviews, I ignore the highs and lows and just read the average scores to get a feel for the place...that are the honest ones in most cases.

Most of the time I always give 1 or 5 stars, you either make me happy or you don't and if you don't, I give you 1 star, lol, sounds selfish ? No not really cause it doesn't take a lot to please me and I don't expect them to always do or give me whatever I ask, I just expect them to be polite, just as I am being polite to them, and if that's too much to ask, then 1 star for you

I remember i cleaned free of charge for my sister in law
Her daughter  had spilled nail polish all over her white carpet. I removed the nail polish and he she was blown away couldnt believe i was able to remove it. She offered to give me a reviews and she gave me a 4 out 5 lol

That is the drawback of using these online services like help. Some of your customer can help you in growing your business with positive feedback, while some of them can bring you down with such negative feedback. But today, its still kind of important to have such online profiles.
