can be awsome for us.

so easy to install and they hold up really well. I was surprised after we 360 cleaned some tiles, I didnt even know it was tiles!

I found a good source to get them for a good price. We were getting into really practicing installing wall to wall but f that lol

The new ones now really hide the seam well.

Next time a customer has urine problems in the carpet too much to be cleaned, offer this.. you can sell them on tiles easily

Any time one is damaged it can be taken to the shop and given a real bath, or you can come out and replace for them

This is not for the customer who wants it in every room, but if they have nasty urine carpet and its not cleanable in a play room or basement its a great option.

you can rip out urine carpet and pad, sand, bio wash, seal sub floor and then throw down some tiles

They would be very convenient, but I find that they ugly out pretty fast. Of course, for the family that has dogs and a finished basement, that might be a great idea.

there is high quality and low quality just like all carpet, I think the ones we cleaned were pretty high quality... it held up to a 360 and none of the seams separated

I'm pretty familiar with commercial carpet tiles, and have cleaned several....

But had no idea there was a residential ver.?.....I'm picturing like a regular plush type, lets say carpet, in tiles?.....is that correct??

yup, plush regular stainmaster style squares open high pile tons of colors and styles

was looking at a lot of them online and I saw a trend where the center of the traffic lanes are black squares then bordered by light colored. Or some people even went checkered style. Or just one solid color but they look great.

After seeing the ones we cleaned it really got me interested, they are so easy to install

Interesting.

But how are they installed?...not glued down like commercial tiles, or are they?
Are they seamed together, and do they use padding under them?

padding on most is a part of the carpet, some are adhesive peel and stick style, some use a system of little clips

no seam sealing they just fit tight. The ones I looked at had a heavy duty high quality pad attached so they had a lot of weight to them, they arent going to move that easily

I would not have used the 360 if I knew it was tiles, but I couldnt tell and the customer didnt say anything

just looked like some regular high quality nylon
