With all the hoopla going on at TMT with the Joe Bristor and Tim filter thread I believe you may have found the board.

Here's what you need to know.

1. This is not Joe Bristors board it is mine
2. You do not have to buy his stuff in order to post here
3. You can talk freely about of any product or distributor and that includes Joe Bristor and Wanders Products
4. Joe Bristor can not ban you here

I found Joe Bristor because of all the bad mouthing that was going on on TMF. So I called him, and have since changed my whole product line and supplies come from wanders.

Say what you may about Joe, but if you don't Personally know him, then you have lost out on a great resource in our industry.

I save thousands a year just by a simple phone call almost two years ago. "Hey Joe, so your the jerk everybody dislikes, so what ya got that can help me?"  From there a great relationship was started and I have benifeted more than Joe, thinks he has.    





I'm a no paid moderator and I receive zero kick backs from any supplier on our board.

Joe Bristor, has given me more benefit ,  then I have given him with my small purchasing needs.

I'll just say,  it's  worth a guy giving him a chance to see for himself if Joe is truly the bogie man of legend , or   the   helpful distributer that can really hook you up with some nice products, at a more then fair price.

I'll never forget when I bought my current TM about a year ago , I did a video call the poor mans CFM test,  I was just playing around with the vac hose sucking it to my hand to check out what kind of suction I had with this OLD new to me unit.

A bout a week later I hear a knock on my front door,   there was a package from Joe,   He sent me a CFM meter so I could do a real test.     How cool is that?  

I didn't ask him for it,  he just saw that I had a new machine and knew I was curious about what kind of power it had .

For every bad story about Joe , there is a good one,   a guy just has to see for him self.

I started that thread. I was really only comparing the two filters. It got crazy and I don't know why. Some where saying Joe Bristor was paying me. If he was paying me why would I saw the devastator was the better filter. Some people are crazy. I think joe is a alright guy. His filter is awesome for the price. Just wanted to say hi to you guys too.

Welcome smart kleen you didn't know what you were walking in to did ya? Can you imagine if you would have said you preffered the silver bullet   You gave an honest opinion of your testing and that is something that is wanted and appreciated here.

You are the only guy that I know of that has both filter. What I would like to know is what filter does a better job at not restricting air flow. We need to get you the CFM meter so that you can test that for us

DP or Davey who has i?. I'm next in line and I will send it you when I'm done Smartcleen so that you can do those tests for us.

I want to know what the flow is when they are empty and when they're at least half way full of crap

PS Thanks for showing up SmartNKleen. Ya'll watch. He'll be just like Larry H. No Nonsense. No Drama. Just trying to get things done best way he knows how. 

Here's a good one for you: Larry's way of mounting his Silver Bullet - he made his own support brackets.....


He installed a 2.5 port conversion, then ran a 2.5 hose to the back of the filter, Front lid is also 2.5 as I recall.
Note the slight lean backwards. Perfect for fast, efficient service. 
I think Larry was mounting his RC99 on a side door on his other van.

You know what they say, if you wanyt it done right ... get Larry to do it.  

Ha-ha Joe. I don't know about that. I just like to experiment and find out what works best. Having the filter mounted on the side door just involved another step in the setup and was trying to avoid that with this setup. Hope this works out.

Schefier skinny had a defect.....joe sent a new one.
Got a sheer kit...didn't get as much hi/lo sheer as I axpected....Joe's says send it back.

There's a reason why I don't even lurk in other cleaning sites, all of the stupid dramas, I've had enough dramas at home, lol.
And yes Joe can be a jerk until you know him ( don't we all ? ), I like some of his products and will support him as much as I can.

Tmf is really good at distorting facts to make it look like they are always right and can do no wrong. The only thing that they care about is web traffic. Why do you think they allow such nonsense posts? I've watched many cleaners get banned for speaking their mind.

Joe doesn't try to bullshitt anyone and tells it like it is. I appreciate and respect him and consider him a valuable person to the industry.

For those who don't know Pat, he is the kind of guy that will drive across town during an ice storm / blizzard with -30 wind-chills just to welcome you to his town. I know that for a fact, because he did for me.

Don't remember how l heard about Joe but tracked him down on the net. He tells is how it is, a no bullshit type of guy. He might put some people on their their back foot upon their first encounter but once you know Joe better you realise he is a good guy. Have ordered a few times from Joe and always sent to Australia with no hassles.

I have posted few times at TMF in regards of Joe and my experience of his service ,price and products and been accuse of been Joe bristor under a different name it is funny the more they talk about Joe the more people gets to know about his store nothing better than free adverstisment.

Good point gtech, that is how I found out about Joe. They were slamming him over his hsk for the pmf ti wand on the "other" boards. I read his posts and thought he had it right and went looking for his site that day.

That was also the last day I wasted on that board as well.  

joe went way above & beyond for me, blew me away with customer service! Give Joe a chance he's a great guy

Hahaha, I talked to Joe yesterday about a few different things, I don't know what was worse, Joe trying to understand my southern accent, or my low mental capacity? But, he managed both extremely well and taught me something along the way.

That or I just talk to much. Which is a bad combo with me and Joe.
