Its decent, the rubber around the brush got pretty beat up from 1 cleaning but maybe I was going a little hard. Had to grab it last minute so paid 265$

It stays nice and cool with really high temps running so thats a plus. Now I just need a better tile cleaning solution, ordering some 2790 for the first time tomorrow.

Well that was interesting. Better than paying $500 for a small tool.

One side question, does that RC99 do fine hanging upside down?

I picked one up a year ago...rarely use it except for tight corners or on fireplace brick.

It is a decent tool if you can find one at a good price.

I like the use of that cardboard to protect the finish on that floor, I get lazy and throw a tarp down which looks good, but really doesn't protect all that well. I guess I should stock up on the cardboard.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the 2790, I haven't been yet.

Now just loose the Mytee 'boat anchor' spinner, and you'll be doing good.  wink

It's a ph 14 concrete cleaner made by a company called ShoreBest, it's pretty pricey and shipping is pricy too on it will work good, not amazing like an acid cleaner will, but good, .. u can find really high ph concrete cleaners at big box stores too.

Thanks Charlie,    whats a good acid tile cleaner?    I need to go back to a job that didnt clean up as well as we wanted,   got some serious mud coming out of the grout while scrubbing it with the crb but it didnt quite go back to white like I had hoped.

Davey,   that mytee pissed me off the other day.    I tried it with the vac relief on it closed... mistake.   The lift pulled so hard it made the jet on the spinner hit the tile I was cleaning,   left a black mark for some reason.

I would have thought it would just chip the tile but it left a black streak im going to have to try and get off

Other than that incident I like the mytee,   and the price was good about 300 cheaper than the sx

hey Ryan the rc99 does fine at any angle, I just havent found a good set up for it yet with this truck.. it will let some water out after machine is off but no big deal thats why I keep it outside the van.

Ac, I think if you used an SX, you wouldn't think so highly of the boat Anchor?.....$300 savings or not.  wink

And to all, don't confuse High PH cleaners, with low PH acids, two totally different deals.........Know where to use what, and when using both is needed. wink

Hey AC that happened to me once with the SX12 but it didn't leave a black mark it chipped the tile but it was because the that particular tile was uneven. Maybe that black streak is a friction burn
